nice

i can't believe this song is already used in an entry. crazy.

Gario responds:

It'd be great, too, except I needed to edit the track to write the actual name of the song, but now I can't >:(

Really, though, I'm glad someone used it - no complaints from me (and for the record, the name of the track is "Crystal Crow Crusher").

Edit: The flash was deleted, I guess, so now I can name my track. Yay.

nice

i see your style, very progressive. Take one beat and add a bunch and bunch of layers on top. its nice. Very slow pace. Our styles are completely different, i don't know how this round is gonna turn out. Good luck brosepheramous.

i was playing around with this

and let me say it groves very nice. Very fun to play along with

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Cool man, did you post anything? Or are you going to wait for the full version? Glad you dig. \m/

nice song

love the dynamics of it. However....you need better tone, i know you hear this alot. but i'm tellin' yah you should get a badass lil interface or somesort. It will compress your tone so you can hear more of the synths. Also...the bends i'm hearing sound a bit off....practice on hitting that right note when you bend, it will make this song sound more pro. Sounds like you put alot of work on this song

Pure-Metal-UTA responds:

Thanks for the review! When you mean tone, you're talking about the guitar's distortion or the song overall? If you're talking about the guitar, then this is the first time I've heard that, but I don't deny that a little compression wouldn't help, because I don't compress it at all. As for the bends, yeah I've found certain bends in this song where I overbend or underbend, takes practice, and that I shall do!
Seriously though if it's the guitar tone that's been having a negative effect on my songs then I definately need to fix that.
Thanks very much for the review!

HHAA holy shit i forgot about this

yo dood, its cowdog2 i made a new account. I tootttallly forgot about this track. sounds fucking awesome. Hey if you ever want to do another track, let me know.

UNN!

dood, at first i was thinking....it was a bit sloopy and slow. but bam, it kicks right into high gear. Badass shit. DOOD, if you are gonna make a metal version of this song, take it aaaaaaalll the way. reprogram the drums to sound heavier and shit. But the 8bit take on this song was a good way to goo as well, keepin' it retro.

Sayaman64 responds:

Thanks for the constructive criticism (I think it was anyway :P)

I appreciate the positive feedback.

I may do a heavier version in the near future, keep checking back for new submissions!

cool song

my Spawn action figure

kickass track

yo, this a badass track dood. Flows real real nice. Just one thing is when you do a rhythm track, its much better to keep it to the rawest form...and that is pure distortion. All that flanger effects loses its tight ness. When i play with a drum set, i only use my Head and never any pedals. I apply that same concept when i do my recordings.

Solo was badass,
acoustic part was badass too

badass track dood

Hey dood, this is a badass lil trancy pantys song. I'm suprised your song was only 2 mins, haha, Thats the one thing i was really worried about was you making a super long epic song.

mr-jazzman responds:

Haha but you're still gonna win, guaranteed. You've got the guitar man; that's how I was able to defeat Bosa last time. Have fun in the competition! ;)

P.S. If you want any tips on compression, etc. (because it's as applicable to heavy metal as it is to trance, and if you take my advice you'll be sounding just like ABR in no time), I'll be your guest.

LOOl

Benwahakubi has no sense of metal at all.
